Kinesiology is primarily defined as a very gentle form of muscle resistance testing which can be used to identify whether different types of energy are detrimental or beneficial to us. It can help to identify imbalances in the body's structural, chemical, emotional or other energy field. Additionally, kinesiology can help to locate the original time or the origin of an emotional problem in one’s past or childhood.

It is a method of evaluating the function of the body on all levels. Kinesiology works through testing muscle strength in response to a "question" that is presented to the body. This technique was originally developed by a chiropractor in the 1960's and has since been incorporated into the practice of many disciplines, including health, education and psychology.

The Kinesiology modality used is called Touch for Health. TFH is recognised as the foundation of all specialised kinesiology across the world. It is recognised and respected as a fundamental training for other kinesiology’s as well as a healing modality in it's own right.
